Westmill Supplies Sheet Re-Entry Line to Weldwood
Westmill Industries has successfully installed and started up a veneer sheet re-entry line to Weldwood of Canada, Quesnel BC. The system feeds and merges moisture equalized veneer sheets into a full-production visual grading and dry stacker line, eliminating the need for redrying. Westmill designed and built the system to Weldwood’s design specifications, as Weldwood had a clear idea of the system they wanted built. The system started up immediately and was into production of 15 sheets per minute on its second day of operation. This installation gives Westmill a new solution to increase mill production via sheet moisture equalization and re-grading. High piece count re-entry systems are available from Westmill.
