Westmill Awarded Patent For Articulating Door Hardware and Hinge System
Westmill was recently awarded United States patent #6,477,807 for its 'Articulating Door Hinge System and Door Assembly'. This design pulls the door straight away from the door frame before the door begins to pivot open. This action prevents damage to the stainless-core door seal, and also creates a positive leak-free seal. A Canadian patent is currently pending.
